I'd just like to say thank you for all of your kind words through email and the recent comments on my posts about the vinyl and the Clip Chart! I a so glad I have inspired some of you to brush the dust off those sad little Cricuts that have been stuck in the back of the closet since they were brought home!! It's really not scary once you become familiar with it's capabilities!!
I have had a lot of requests for the rest of my behavior calendars I use in my student's D.O.T Books and also for a word version of my discipline policy.
Click below:
I have changed a few of my rules so this is the updated one. Please don't mind the ugly font that google used - please change it to a pretty one for me! :)
I hope the discipline policy downloads o.k - this is the first time I have uploaded a word doc to Google docs. Please let me know if you have any trouble!!
I also worked on some new rule posters for my room this evening. Click below to find them!!
In the coming days I will be posting and sharing more about the D.O.T Book my students use... I am just trying to juggle a lot right now with some recent polka dot orders and the beginning of school... oh and those people I lovingly call my family!! I'm not sure they even still recognize me!! LOL :)
I did spend all day in my classroom today, and I even brought my SLR to take some decent pictures but I seemed to have made more of a mess today then clean so it really wasn't a pretty sight this afternoon. I will do my best to get some tomorrow!
THANK YOU!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you!!

Everything is awesome! Thank you so much for sharing your talents! :)
ReplyDeleteLOVE these!! Could you explain the gestures you use to help the kids remember the rules? :-) Thanks a bunch!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for all this cute stuff! I, too, would love to hear more about the gestures you use (hoping none of them involve a certain finger!) LOL
ReplyDeleteWarmly,

Those are really creative. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! I love the behavior calendars. I love your "codes" at the bottom. :)
ReplyDeleteYour calendar is something I am really interested in trying as my first year in Kinder. I love the "codes" at the bottom and the idea that the students can add jewels to their clips! What an awesome way to motivate AND it is so subjective and taylored to each child's "above and beyond" behavior! Thanks for sharing! mrswyattsteachingtales.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteOh, and what are your gestures for your classroom rules? That seems pretty neat too!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the freebies! Quick question, what fonts did you use on the rule posters? They're super cute!

I LOVE YOUR CALENDARS!!!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH...
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to let you know that the letter to parents has a misspelled word... before you send it home to parents. Philosophy is spelled Philiosophy. I ALWAYS have typos.... so I would want someone to catch mine! Thanks again, I love them! ADAPTING THEM TO MEET MY NEEDS NOW!
Aaaahhhhh!!! Thank you!!! I can't spell!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE THE BEHAVIOR CHARTS! I plan on using whole brain teaching rules in my classroom and I have scoured the internet trying to find some cute printables for my classroom! Thank you... just a quick question though..Is there a reason why you don't use the respect yourself, respect school and respect others rule? I thought that was a good rule... Is there any way you can make that rule number 6? I would love to add that as well!
ReplyDeleteMy teammate and I just chose this year to word it differently. I have had a lot of requests for it so I will make a new poster for it. :) I will post when I finish. :)
ReplyDeleteAshley,
ReplyDeleteMaybe you already answered this somewhere and I missed it, but what does your DOT stand for? I have a polka dot theme in my room and I use SPOT books - Students Prepared & Organized Today. I was just curious what yours stood for! :)

tmarie - D.O.T = Daily Organizational Tool :) I like your SPOT book!! I think one of my friends uses that!! :) Cute Cute!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing these rules. I've got them all ready to put on my wall and I'm really excited to put it in action this year.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing these! I wanted to find out if they can be edited at all? I was trying to fill in the days on the calendars and I am running out of blocks so on some months there is a whole week that is unable to be placed on the calendar
ReplyDeleteMy email is ashley.farless@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteThanks
Thank you so much for these great ideas. I can't wait to try the 'movement' rules with my kids!
ReplyDeleteLove the posters!

Hi Ashley! I have a HUGE favor to ask of you! I am absolutely IN LOVE with your behavior calendars. I started out this year using them and I still am. However, I have a problem where using the code is not enough. My parents want a play by play run down so I find myself writing a whole note out in addition to the code. MY only problem has been that the behavior code box takes up the last week of the calendar that I can't always complete a month like for August. Would it be totally ridiculous to ask for either an editable version so I can take off the behavior code and enlarge the calendar to the whole page so I would have the last week? Or would you be willing?? I would really like to be able to type holidays, events, etc write into the calendars and I would totally be willing to pay for a set of them that I could edit!?!? Please let me know! I still use and LOVE them so much, but was thinking about how they may work better for me. Thanks again!!!!! eden_capps@scps.k12.fl.us
ReplyDeleteThank-you for the rules posters!!

Where do you get your clipart from??? I looove it!
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to drop you a quick note to say that I LOVE your posters and just started using them with my 3rd grade class this week (never too late to start!)-- it's amazing how quickly they are catching on and the gestures are great! I use the newer Rule #3 and they look so cute hanging in my room. Many, many thanks!!
ReplyDeleteI love this! I went to print it to use in my classroom for next year, but realized the clip art children are not from differnt ethnicities. I try to teach my students to love and respect people from all races and backgrounds... if you ever have spare time (haha) could you please make one with students from different ethnic backgrounds? I think your room, clip art, and ideas are all SUPER CUTE! Thank you so much for sharing :o)
ReplyDeleteI would love a copy of your rules. Please tell me how I can get them? Thank you so much. They are great. Just what I have been looking for. My email is heather.day9@gmail.com.
ReplyDeleteI love your rules! Would you be able to send me a copy with a different font? I'm worried that my students will not be able to read them.
ReplyDeleteI forgot to add my e-mail address. ooops :) Ragrast@kent.edu
DeleteThank you so much for the posters! Love the clean layout and colors. I appreciate your generosity so much. Looking forward to hanging these up in my room this year.
ReplyDeleteI love your behavior calendars, but noticed that there is not always enough room to put all the days of the month due to the text box at the bottom. Is there any way I can get an editable copy of the calendars? Or could you post some without the behavior codes and I can put the codes on a separate page. thanks, Mrs. Miller amy.kathleen.miller@hotmail.com
ReplyDeleteI love the WBT Rules Posters- I look forward to using them next year. Thanks for sharing:-)
ReplyDeleteI love your behavior calendars!! Is there any chance I could get an editable copy or a set with the behavior codes on a different page? Thank you so much for your help!!
