O.k - so who's fantabulous idea was it to have the 100th and and Groundhogs day within days of each other?????? Oh yeah - that would be Mother Nature's idea - since we missed a whole week of school our 100th day got pushed back and it just so happened to land on the same week as groundhogs day. Yikes! SO needless to say it has been a busy week!! Here is a picture tour through our 100th day of fun!!
Our kindergarten group always likes to share our 100th day excitement with the whole school, so we do a few things in the front lobby for all the children to enjoy!!
Each K student made a footprint. :)
We also each made a person!!
We also made 100 100s!!
I saw this adorable activity on Mrs. Kimbrell's blog and I loved it!! So I made one of my own! Dots to 100
I found this in an OLD 100th day folder I found in the file cabinet. Sometimes the oldies are the goodies!! If you want a copy, email and I will scan and send. :)
I called this Roll Count Roll. They rolled the dice, counted and then rolled the number with these rolling stamp things I found in the Target $ section a few years ago.
They colored 100 glasses and to wear to lunch. The lunch ladies always enjoy seeing the kids in their glasses!! They also made 100 tally marks on their 100th day headband!!
Of course I had to join the fun!! :)
O.K - I couldn't resist this one - check out his glasses - not quite sure how he made them stay on his face!! Love it!! :)
100th Day Snack!!
Each kindergarten class contributed to our snack for the day!! There were 10 different snacks around our hall and the kids went to each room and counted 10 of each type of snack!!
100 Fruit Loops Necklace!!
And last but not least...we made a pizza with 100 toppings!!!!!
Phew...I'm tired just reliving the day! Needless to say...I came home and crashed!!!
Fun on Groundhogs day is next...thanks to Kim Adsit!! :)
